The watch reads 1:43:12...

|

And thats what was displayed on the my Casio G Shock, 1:43:12.

My first ever 15km! (laugh if you want to... all you runners out there!)
Never knew I could run for 103 minutes without stopping! I AM AMAZED!

The run was conducted at a comfortable pace.
Speed was never my aim (but neither do I wanna go too slow), my aim was to complete the 15km, as a build-up to the upcoming Army Half Marathon (AHM) on the 26th Aug!

After the 15km run, i felt that the legs don't belong to me.... Its as if they belong to others.... I can't really have 100% control as it was way too hard and rigid! Talk about muscle tensioning... I guess thats how little muscle i got... haha.

I treated myself to a wonderful concoction of 100 plus and Cherrynade! Wonder how it taste like ? hmmm, gassy diluted cough syrup ? Not everyone likes it, but I do! and trust me, it PERKS you up!
Now if you are interested, its 3/4 100 plus and a 1/4 of cherrynade! =)

Should I run the marathon ? *ponders*
I seriously wanna try it for at least once in my life... I wanna achieve something (physically)... at least once! train train train if I wanna attempt, if not just give it up...
now the ratio is like 6.5 to 3.5 that I will be going *ponders again*

I am not a running freak neither a fitness psycho.. but joining these "competitions" are one of my several resolutions for this year.

I had gone for the Mizuno Wave Run (10km), next up are the following :

- AHM 21 km
- New Balance Real Run 15 km
- Standard Chartered Marathon 42km

You know why i dog-earred the word competition ?

Its simple actually....

My only competitor is me myself.
If i stop, i walk, i lose.....
