DRC 50 040107. <---- Nah, not some kind of code =p

Never knew that "kupping" corners with CG125s can be so much fun!
Yup, you got that right! a CG125!!! Who in the whole hell world would "kup" with that ah pek looking bike that no one (k maybe a small handful) would buy ? Well I did "kup" with it!

But it was thru' the Defensive Riding Course (DRC) that I got the chance to do it.
How many would have the chance to have the full SSDC circult to themselves ? No need to signal, give way, watever shit, do wat you want, how fast you want, basically there's no law, rules or regulations, you are set free in the wild wild west~!~!

It was definitely a fun and worthwhile experience!
You learn new things , new skills, and these skills would be necessary should you ever fall into those critical situations. =)

Basically the DRC is 3 part.
Theory.
Stimulator.
Practical.

And the practical itself is sub divided into 3 subjects too.
1. Chase the Instructor - basically whats involve is you gotta chase the instructor, both start on level grounds, with the same bike. He will take corners after corners and you are suppose to chase him! What we learn here is how to enter corners smoothly and safely, not so much on the fast "Rossi" factor though.
2. Counter Steering - The instructor will teach you how to "purposely" skid your bike! And once the bike skid, how should you react so that you would come to a safe stop. Most fun part for me! Time to learn power-sliding! hahaha =p
3. Tight Turnings - The instructor wants you to take slow, controlled turns in the width of a single lane. Now that's hell lot of toughness! I came. I tried but I never conquer.... got conquered instead... But that gave me new insight! New stuffs to learn! Its better to be skillful and safe than to be not skillful and safe right ? =p

I really recommend ALL BIKERS to go for this course! Worth the money! Its a good experience. This course cost peanuts, just $50!!! But it sure teaches a lot more for the price you pay!

GO GO GO !! =)
(ok now I can go into ALL camps and not fear that I get pull over and refused entry into camps for not possessing the DRC!)
