On the 4/6/06 , I had my first taste of being a MXer! (MX = Motocross)!
That was to be the longest and furthest that i had ever ridden in my 1 year plus of biking experience.
I met up with a few enthusiast and set off for M'sia via 2nd link at about 745am!
First thing we went in was to makan! have a big breakfast! I had this funny noodle, not the ones we would have got in Sg, it had 1 wanton, a cuttlefish ball, crabmeet and wu xiang i think, cant remember the exact ingrientients, and in a dark soya sauce!
Quite tasty la, at least it was special compared to what i will be having day in day out in Sg.
After that we set off to BKMX , our first location for the day! BKMX is a very big MX track, about 1.5-2 times the size of a soccer field , it consists of different romps for jumps and other technical shits! (which the novice me dunno wat they are called, PAISEH!)
The track sucks though for that day as the week before, there was a competition there and it was damn muddy, thus the dried up soil formed lots of rugs which was damn difficult for us to move, even if we are just trying to go straight FAST!
I took my one and only jump.... and i freaking crash landed.... my bike was in mid air, its front ramped downsided, straight onto the slope.... of course i took flight too... i flung and landed on my top back... damn pain!

My friends said i was lucky cause the bike was gonna land on top of me, luckily i managed to siam!
Bike suffered some cosmetics damage and a broken side mirrror and thats all it got! =)
Next we ride up to Kukup, some 65-70 km away from 2nd link itself... so back and forth , it took me around 140 km, something like you going from jurong to pasir ris back to jurong then go pasir ris again.... SHACK! my bum almost grew piles man! lol
The lunch was nice! the boss find space inside his seaside restaurant to let us park! and almost everyone look at us as if we are some sort of monsters... as we were in our mx gears ! =X
After makan we went to nusajaya! a small track where cars and bikes can test themselves alike.
We met some car siaos there! They were good (at least to me). For the first time in my almost-a-quarter-century life, i saw car drifts!!!! they really drifts into corner! omg~
And I saw this 1980+ Toyota corolla, those damn squarish type! it looks fucking LOK! With its exhaust hanging on, almost dropping off! But the driver can drift with that LOK piece of thing (i wont even call it a car now....) The owner spent a bomb doing up the inners, dry clutch, suspension etc! That's clever stuff to do in m'sia! The car is good but it looks damn lok! thus the car thieves there wont aim it! smart~!
Then 2 of my friends went down to play, they had on motards so no prob for them, i only had my offroad knobby , go down = wait for death....
1 of them is actually some kind of bike racer, so he showed good skill, powersliding into corners and wham-bang-go while my other friend, need to slow down at corner to turn in to avoid the danger! powersliding is SHUAI! must learn!
I did a powerslide later on the way back, sliding so beautifully into my lane! haha
but that wasnt intended... bike just wash and i brake salah.... the bike slides into position, it either means i slide nicely or flung away badly... lucky i had the former! haha
we return back home around 1600H.
