I was touched by monkeys!

I was going to work , just as every other working day, going thru' the same routes over and over again.
But the experience was quite different for me today.
At the other side of death, lies a very heart warming and touching side.

I saw a monkey lying on the middle of the 3 lane. It was most likely dead. Had it fallen to death ? or was it ran over by a vehicle ? I doubt is the latter, as the injuries on its small frame was superficial, but i could conclude that it was enough to conclude that the creature lying lifelessly, was dead....

There was another monkey at the side of the road.
I was riding towards its compatriot at a slow speed.
It ran towards the dead monkey, as if to check out its condition or to retrive the body, when a car comes, he ran back.
It continue the same thing again when i was approaching the body, only to move back the moment i came closer to the spot.

This scene really touched me.

Even monkeys know what's care and concern, and to not leave their comrades in death.
Does human knew the same thing ?
