Comments on dressing ?

| | Comments (0)

Your dressing shows your character, your personality, what kinda person you are, and what you like/dislike... A person's dressing is a very powerful personal statement!

Dressing is such a private thing that I believe, you can advice that person but not really critisize him, and when you advice on him, it better be on a more "advicing" tone!

Cause I had one such bad experience today!

I was wearing this Indo-style v-necked long sleeve top , bermudas, slippers and rounded it off with some accessories (those african styled ones, wooden rings and bracelet).

A friend actually kinda commented that i look awful in this... I feel like screaming at her there and then...

Its like, is ok if I find that you have good taste and you start commenting on me.. I will accept that... But not when I actually have serious doubt on your taste but nevertheless i keep my comments to myself...

I never say things like, "hey, the shorts looks awful on your short legs and broad ass...", or stuffs like "hello kitty handbag???? thats for kids!!" i never say that, cause i respect your style of dressing...

The issue here is R E S P E C T!
come on, respect for people's sense of dressing can you ?

You dunno about my passion for photography, my passion for adventure, or this side of my dressing apart from my usual tees and bermudas/jeans, so live with it, if not keep your gaps glued... this had really infuriated me... what a way to celebrate xmas eve...

Xmas eve in Bangkok ?

| | Comments (0)

Fancy myself to post on the eve of christmas, and not to mention in the city of angels - Bangkok...

Here I am, 3rd day in BKK, enjoyed the experience in this city but not the company.... basically i had this feeling of right place but wrong company...

just a brief update of the highlights so far of my bangkok adventure (as wat Patt calls it)

Day 1
Touch down in Bangkok Airport!
You would began to understand why Changi airport is rated among the best in the world when you go to other countries' airport.

And the cab fare cost like 300 baht? When actually the usual pricing to reach will be like 150 baht ?
Transport would be more expensive (compared to a local) when u dun speak the thai language...

We booked a tut tut to ferry us around for the day, each tut tut cost us like 500 baht ? for the whole day ?
It was my first experience of tut tut too! nice vehicle, but a bit unstable ?

Dropped my stuffs in the hotel room and off to Pratunam to shop.
Got some stuffs, which i will update later back home, its basically a shopping trip so far in bkk.

Also had seafood on the first day!

Drunk at night.... a long time since i got drunk, and i certainly hate the feeling... my one and only drinking session in Bkk... no more for me...

Day 2
Hua hin for me! The beautiful beach of hua hin! Target is to water ski~
Its like a 3 hours + trip for cab ? En route from bkk, we went to the floating market.
Reached hua hin, there was this horse riding vendor, and we took his horse to the jet-ski stall.... and darn it... the stall is close.... strong waves for the day and no water skiing is allow... think the horse vendor knew bout it, but he still keep it mum... not much ethnics to speak about...
But the horse riding was a nice experience, especially when the horse was all controlled by me, not pulled around by the vendor! hehe!
I loved that feeling but from wat ZR told me before about the cost of owning a horse, i will certainly back away from it... unless one day i can really achieve it! maybe i should put horse-owning my aim ? *lol*
At night went for massage, it is certainly nice to soothe your bones after a hard day of walking around ! and it was cheap! 300 baht only! and i tipped my massere (is that how you spell it ?) 200 baht! and i was kinda scolded by my friends... but wth... I appreciate pple's service and paid wat i think she's worth, i dun think i did anything wrong...

Day 3 (Today)
Went to Mo chit station to meet Patt in the late morning.... The stupid tut tut driver sent me to the wrong place for a jack up price... i was like, wtf is this place ? He sent me to the Bangkok Bus Terminal (chatuchak) instead of my destination BTS Mo chit... And i wasted an hour + there... making myself damn late for my appointment.. After numorous attempts to walk there, I took a cab there instead... had to rely on Patt to tell the driver the place to meet... =/
The meter showed that I need to pay 75 baht and Mr old man took 120 from me.. I was like, ok... since you want it, it cost me like s$2... go take it... too tired to argue with you...but i was like thinking, why do everyone have to "chop" foreigners ? It leaves such a bad impression on the country i feel...

Went Chatuchak (ctC) and shop shop shop! Bought quite a lot of things at a cheap price, because i had a native thai with me! hehe! that's the advantage! But still missed out a few thing... still gotta go back tmr...

It was nice meeting up with Patt and Ant, but feel so bad to keep her waiting.. =/ haiz... Patt if you are reading this, Sorry ya ? ;)

After Patt left, I went to meet up with the rest of my singapore friends... I called this guy and he told me to wait for him outside section 25 of ctc...

I went there and waited for 45 god damn minutes before they arrived... They wemt shopping around and buy stuffs...
In between waiting time, I message him that i can go find him and such, but he say he will come and find me...

And the first thing they come , they never even bother to say sorry...
I told them might as well let me go find them since they shopping rather then wait for 45 minutes and another of my friend actually told me stuffs like, "we sepnt 45 minutes walking lo, so tired u know ?" and i was thinking , had u all ask me to wait at this place which i came to on time, you said in a while you come, but you took 45 minutes, i offer to find you, u decline, and now its my fault ??????????? wtf ????

nvm.... they just wasted not only 45 minutes of my time... but also the time i spent going back to ctc tmr...

any xmas eve celebration ?? sadly.... no... think i will just retire early later...

Day 4
Back to ctc to buy stuffs... and maybe walk around to take some pics...

Day 5
Alone to Atuthaya to take pics, since no one shares such passion...

Day 6
Back to singapore!~ yahoo~~

PS : it really feels kinda lonely in Bangkok when you go with the wrong group of company...
